are among you and yield your hearts to the Lord.”’

Acts 11:23 When Barnabas arrived (in Antioch) and saw the evidence
of the grace of God, he was glad and encouraged them to
remain true to the Lord with all their hearts.’

1 Samuel 16:7 The Lord does not look at the things man looks at. Man
looks at the outward appearance but the Lord looks at the
heart.’

 God wants us all to respond to him in our hearts not through outward
appearance.

 Many people throughout the scriptures responded to God in this way.

Way to Work (Means)

1. Review the previous few lessons briefly.

2. Remind the children that the Greeks often relied on their intellect but the
people of Israel responded to God in their hearts.
