1. The children should have a greater understanding of God’s desire for the four
countries to work together and appreciate the similarities and differences between
them.

2. They should be able to locate the countries on a map.

Psalm 33:13 ‘From heaven he looks down and sees all mankind; from his dwelling
place he watches all who live on earth.’

Romans 13:1-7 God establishes governments to govern as his servants.

 Each nation has a capital city where its government sits and where national
achievements are recognised.

 Each capital city has its famous landmarks.

Way to Work (Means)

1. Review the previous lessons.

2. Show pictures or a DVD of famous places in London to see if the children recognise

any of them.

Talk about each one.

3. Explain about each nation having a capital city. Give a quiz of capitals of well-known

nations, eg France, Wales, Scotland, N Ireland, Italy.

4. Ask the children where the capital city of the universe is situated. The Bible tells us
that God is enthroned in heaven and he is the King of kings. His throne is in heaven.

Certain people in every nation are chosen to serve as leaders. Many do not know that
God is King so may not be such good leaders but God tells us to pray for them.
