MACCABI AJAX JUNIOR CRICKET CLUB - REPORT

The Club was incredibly fortunate that the 2020/2021 season was able to proceed
with very little interruption. We had massive participation, with a record 17 teams,
including 2 girls’ teams and 65 Junior and Master Blasters.

We had 3 teams make finals and under 13 Colts and under 13 Chargers both
making Grand Finals.

We had many outstanding individual performances with 5 players; Jhett Haeata,
Gilad Lowinger, Jonty Israel, Ari Fell and Shalom Goldstein each qualifying to
represent our Association in the Victorian Metropolitan Cricket Union tournament.
We were able to offer participation to 238 Jewish children and it looks like
2021/2022 will be the same as we have opened registrations and have the same
demand as last season.

At this stage we will be commencing training in the last week of October, with a
view to starting games in November.
