Hodad’s

                          Oceanside -burger




                                         Ingredients


               Large seeded hamburger bun
               6 oz 80/20 ground chuck
               3 oz thinly sliced pastrami
               1 tbsp ketchup
               Crinkle cut kosher dill pickles
               1 slice Swiss cheese
               Yellow onion slice
               Spicy brown mustard


                                         Lagniappe



               Cook burger and Pastrami and onions separately on a griddle or iron skillet.

               Toast the buns on the oily griddle, remove and put the ketchup and pickles on
               the bottom bun, set aside

               Season the burger to taste, flip only once!  Place the cheese on the burger and
               cook till melted

               Top the cheese with the Pastrami and add the onions on top of the Pastrami

               Spread the top bun with the brown mustard, place it on the burger patty still
               on the grill and transfer the hamburger patty and toppings to the bottom part
               of the bun.
