ball), Janet (enjoys P.T.), Bunty (reading, Latin? is her hobby), Sandra
        (a French expert—amazing), Janet (a Latin expert—more amusing) and
Nellie—who wonder of wonders, like Physics.
Now that you have heard about the girls, I will endeavour to bring
to your notice the stronger sex of this great class. Although greatly
outnumbered by the girls, who try to bully us, we still stick up for
ourselves. Here are the boys of 3A1; Allan "What-a-haircut” Apps
plays a good game of football (or so Mr. O’Mara says) and high jumps
well. Michael “Onions” Yonwin is our walking dictionary, while Walter
Morgan is quick to look one up. Cadets include Peter “Chesty’’ Bond,
who also plays cricket. David “Beerbottle” (not Greenbottle) Beere,
and Ray Hargreaves, who also, as do Arthur Chantler and
Lester “Lulu” Cliff, plays tennis. Keith “Little Bongo” works well in
between his feuds with Beerbottle. Les Clough likes gymnastics, while
Alan and Lester are especially good at box work.
All try hard at school work although we may become quite trying.
But here’s thanks to all our teachers, especially Mr. Law, who has done
a wonderful job as Form teacher. Also we wish all Senior, Junior and
Scholarship candidates the best of luck. (Thank goodness we don’t do
Junior this year). Form 3A1 of Room 15 signing off, over and out.

                               FORM 3A2
                            Form Captain : Peter Martin.
                           Vice-Form Captain : S. McDonald.
3A2 is the most misunderstood class in Third Form. The teachers
think we are a sorry lot, but we are a very industrious class (even
though we never do our homework).
We have many efficient cadets in our Form, namely: S. McDonald,
        A. Travers, B. Rodgers, T. Swann, R. Copland, A. Hill, R. Lockwood,
        A. Kichno, P. Driver, B. Reading, J. Lindley, and P. Martin.
John Lindley is the very fine bugler of the unit. Barry Rodgers
is the bass drummer Allan Travers and Stuart McDonald have done
a lot of intelligence work in the cadets. Richard Copland received his
crossed rifles at the Passing-out Parade.
Stuart McDonald is our mathematician and A. Kichno and Richard
        Copland excel in languages.
The whole class is good at geography and English. (The highest
mark in geography was 71 per cent.) We always do our chemistry
        homework.
We were well represented in the Q.S.S.S.S.A. Championships. Allan
Hill cleared 5ft. 2in. in the under 16 high jump.
The footballers of our class are Barry Rodgers, Allan Travers and
        Barry Reading.
Terry Randall and Allan Hill are very keen cricket players.
Our top boys are Stuart McDonald and Andris Kichno.
Our Form has ability in class and at sport.

                               FORM 3A3
We are the historians of Third Form, and have already made history
by being named 3A3, or 3A3D when we have to be associated with a
dreadful band of girls who try to poison us with curried sausages, etc.,
        on Tuesday afternoons.
Our Form teacher is Mr. McCormack, and Phyllis Hargreaves and
Roger Sands are the Form captains Pam Hafner is top of the class,
while Vitauts Klaikelietis is top boy.
