FORM 3C1
Form Teacher : Mr. Doube.
Form Captains : Yvonne Binns, David Jackson.
The occupants of Form 3C1 are predominantly feminine, although
boys do bob up here and there (don’t we know it).
The honour of being head of the class was held by Marvan Thompson
who recently migrated to Salisbury. The coming examination will decide
who will take her place although the favourite would seem to be Susan
Grant.
We have amongst our pupils many notable school athletes. Laraine
Hillier, School Champion under 16; bravo, Laraine. your wins at
Q.S.S.S.S.A. were great. We are proud of you. Other pupils of Form
3C1 to represent our school on the sporting field this year were : Leah
Gibbs, Elaine Phillips, Lyn Edwards, Lex Rahe (basketball).
Veronica Woods was our representative at tennis and for swimming
we have Veronica O'Neill. The boys representatives were David Jackson,
Barry Mossop (high jumpers), Des Whittaker (tennis).
The cadets also must not be forgotten, these being David Jackson
and George Greenhill.
We have in the cultural field such excellent pianists as Glennis
Stansfield, Pam Truasheim, Leah Gibbs and Trevor Hickman, while as
budding actresses we have Janice Klemm, member of Mercury Theatre
Group and Yvonne Binns of Harlequin.
Here’s wishing everybody good reports in the coming examinations
and thanks to our teachers for patient assistance.
