tennis racquet. Of course, the girls are not outshone. Alayne Smith,
Beverley Pickering and Camilla Andrew are fine ball-game players,
while Charmaine Easten represented seven of the Intermediate basket
ball team. Wendy Eames, who has won many cups and also came third
in Q.L.D., is our champion swimmer.
We feel that we have nearly the making of a band with our
musicians. Jeanette Sands, Jocelyn Senden, Beverley Pickering, Bill
Hase, Lance Duke, and Peter Parker learn the piano. Maurice Doube
(bagpipe), Wayne Perry (banjo), Trevor Shepherd (guitar), Garren
Leatherbarrow (drums).
Peter Parker and Ray McMahon are the class comedians, bringing
many a ray of sunshine into our room with their well-timed and some
times unconscious wise cracks.
As final word, this is Form captains, Charmaine Easten and Robert
Allen on behalf of 2A, wishing all candidates success in the forthcoming
examinations.

FORM 2C
Our room is 15A and we have Mr. Maccoll as our teacher. We are
a happy, co-operative and intelligent (?) group of children, with Aileen
Barr and Robin Ricketts as Form Captains.
During June and July, while Mr. Maccoll was on sick leave, we had
Mr. McCallum as relieving teacher.
The approach of our Scholarship Examination has caused most of
us to do more study, and we hope that we do credit to ourselves and our
teachers when the results are published.
We have our share of members in school sporting teams, as you
will observe.
