Rules & Regulations for the
District Scout and Guide Fellowship
1. District SGF
a) There shall be a District SGF / or Guild SGF as the case may be for
each Revenue District as determined from time to time by the
State SGF Council.
b) District SGF would be an informal association of persons having
no legal status.
c) District SGF will be formed by having 15 (fifteen) direct members
or 3(three) Guilds or both. (Growth should be shown within 3
years of formation & should reach every block/panchayat as
progress)
d) The District SGF / or Guild SGF as the case may be shall be
affiliated to the State SGF and on such affiliation, the State SGF
shall issue a Charter and by virtue of such Charter only the District
SGF shall function as such provided a State Council of the State
SGF may directly register and administer SGF Guild in any area or
areas where there Is no District exists.
e) The District SGF / or Guild SGF as the case may be shall confirm
and adhere to the Constitution, Rules and Regulations of Indian
SGF and also the priorities of the State in achieving the National
and State objectives.
2. Enrollment
Any adult or an institution irrespective of religion or sex, who
subscribes to the Aims & Objectives of the Indian Fellowship, may be
enrolled as a member of the District SGF to admit in any of the
following category of members as per the rules and regulations of the
Organization on payment of membership fees as prescribed.
3. Categories of Members:
Chief Patron: Any person holding high office in the State Government
or any public institution may be appointed as the Chief Patron by the
District SGF in consultation with the State SGF.
Patron: Any person of repute may be appointed as a Patron by the
District but not exceeding two.
a. Donor Member: Any Individual who pays a lump sum as decided
by the District Governing Body may be admitted as a Donor
member for life.
