amongst the elected members and additionally nominated by the
President.
10. The District SGF Governing Body shall be composed of:
1) The President (elected by the Special General Assembly)
2) Two Vice Presidents. Out of two one should be a woman
3) District Secretary
4) District Treasurer
5) District Coordinator
6) One District Joint Secretary
7) One District Asst. Joint Secretary
8) Other Members elected in the District General Assembly
9) The governing body meets regularly at least once in three
months and initiates the implementation of the decisions taken
by the District SGF General Assembly. It monitors the ongoing
projects and activities of the District SGF.
11. Vacancies.
Vacancies caused by death or resignation or expulsion, shall be filled
up by nomination by the President.
12. Tenure:
The tenure of the District SGF General Assembly and the District SGF
Governing Body shall be Three years or till reconstituted within a
period of six months on expiry its term. The tenure of the District SGF
Governing Body shall be Co-terminus with the term of the District
SGF Special General Assembly.
13. Quorum:
a) i) District SGF General Assembly: Minimum 15 member or
1/3 Members of the District General Assembly present whichever is
lower.
ii) Governing Body: 1/3 members of the Governing Body or
5 members whichever is lower.
b) If the quorum is not complete, the meeting shall be adjourned for
further half an hour and shall be held at the same place, whether the
requisite quorum Is complete or not and it can transact only the
business according to the circulated agenda.
14. Notice of Meeting
District General Assembly: 30 days (including election notification
every three years)
District SGF Governing Body : 7days
