All other members of the District SGF and Guild SGF apart from above
mentioned members of District SGF can attend the District General
Assembly as "Observers".
8. Duration and meeting of the District SGF General Assembly:
i) The duration of the District SGF General Assembly shall be
three years from the date of meeting in which the new
assembly is constituted or till reconstituted within a period
of six months on expiry of its term.
ii) Meeting of the District SGF General Assembly shall be
presided by the President or in absence by the one of the
Vice-Presidents.
iii) The District SGF General Assembly shall meet once in a
year.
iv) A special District SGF General Assembly shall meet once in
every three years to elect its President from amongst the
members of the District SGF and District Governing Body
members from amongst the members of the District
General Assembly as per the rules.
v) The Special General Assembly after election of its president
shall elect members of the District Governing Body as
provided below.
a) Five members from life members elected from
amongst themselves.
b) Three members from ordinary members elected from
amongst themselves.
c) Two members co-opted by the President.
d) Two members from Guild SGF elected amongst
themselves.
e) All matters before the District General Assembly shall
be decided by a simple majority of votes. In case of
equal votes, the Chairman of the meeting shall have a
casting vote in addition to his own vote.
f) The District Secretary may anytime summon the
District General Assembly if desired by the President or
in his absence by one of the Vice Presidents.
9. The District Governing Body:
The District Governing Body, immediately after its formation, within
15 days, shall meet and elect the following office bearers from
