b. Life Members: Individuals who shall pay a onetime lump sum
amount as subscription fee for life but such members may be
required to pay additional fee after a period of ten years or as
may be decided by the District Governing Body.
c. Ordinary Members: Individuals who reside/work within the
District Area shall pay an annual subscription fee as decided by
the District Governing Body. Ordinary membership is renewable
every year.
d. Honorary Members: Senior citizens or any other persons or
repute who have rendered services or made meritorious
contribution to the Scout/Guide Movement or society may be
admitted as Honorary members as decided by the District
Governing Body. Honorary members shall be in the ratio of 1:20
not exceeding five. These members shall not pay any fee and shall
have no voting right.
e. Institutional Members: May be admitted as per rules of the
District SGF as shown below.
Guild SGF:
Has minimum five members and pays an annual per member to the
District SGF as prescribed by the District SGF. where a District unit does not
exist then the Guild shall be directly affiliated to the State SGF and where a
State SGF does not exist then it will be directly affiliated to the National
Organization and pays annual fees as may be decided by the State Council or
National Organization.
The Fee amounts may be amended from time to time by the District
Governing Body. However, State SGF may provide guidance in this regard, if
required.
4. Application for membership
Application for membership to the District SGF may be made on
prescribed format to the District Secretary. Approval of the District
Governing Body shall be the pre-requisite for the enrollment as a member.
The membership shall commerce from the date when the same is approved
by the District Governing Body and on receipt of fee by the District SGF.
5. Termination of Membership:
a) On death or resignation.
b) On being a defaulter in the payment of subscription fee as per rules &
regulations.
