Governing Body. Once the circular is issued and or posted, then it shall
be deemed to have been served to the members.
All notices for the meetings, circulars, letters and correspondences will
be issued under the signature of the Guild SGF Secretary or under his
instructions as the case may be.
14. Election
A. i) The Guild SGF Governing Body shall decide and notify the
schedule of election and Guild Secretary shall conduct the election by
show of hands.
The Election notification should be sent to members at least 20 days in
advance of the election date.
ii) Each member of the Guild SGF General Assembly shall have
the right to exercise single non-transferable vote.
iii) Only a bona fide member shall be eligible to contest and
vote for the election whose subscription is paid up to the
year 31st March, prior to the month of election.
iv) A candidate who gets simple majority shall be declared
elected by the Returning Officer.
v) If two or more candidates get same number of votes, then
the President shall have right to nominate one of the
members as elected.
vi) Age limit - All key post at every level should not be
occupied by a person of above 70years age. While nominating for any post
or election he/she should be within 67years of age.
15. Powers of the Guild SGF General Assembly
i) To elect President and members of the Guild SGF governing body.
ii) To amend, alter or add any clause in the rules & regulations of the
Guild SGF with the consent of the District SGF Governing
Body/State SGF Governing Body.
iii) To organize courses, lectures, seminars and workshops to promote
and realize the Alms and Objectives of the Fellowship.
iv) To approve any project with the consent of District SGF Governing
Body.
v) To acquire, purchase, take on lease, hire or otherwise acquire and
hold any land or building etc with the consent of District SGF
Governing Body.
