Policy - Constitutional set up Railway SGF Units
All the Indian Railway Scout & Guide Fellowship branches/Units/Guilds will
be governed by special provisions as approved by the General Assembly of
Indian scout & Guide Fellowship from time to time, in accordance with the
guidelines issued by the Railway Board.
Rule No.1: Indian Scout Guide Fellowship recognizes all 17Zonal Railways as
StateScout& Guide Fellowship Branches.
Rule No. 2: All Indian Railway Divisions and Production units will be treated
as District Scout& Guide Fellowship units.
Rule No. 3: State Railway Scout & Guide Fellowship State will be recognized
only by membership of minimum 75 members – to reach out all Divisions in
the zone with in 3 years after its formation.
Rule No.4: Every Division in Zones will be recognized only by membership of
minimum 15 members or more & as many Guild as possible at workshops /
Railway Colonies / Office Blocks.
Rule No. 5: Production Units of Indian Railways will be recognized only by
membership of minimum 15 members or more & as many Guild as possible
at workshops / Railway Colonies / Office Blocks.
Rule No.6:
1. General Managers of every Zone can be invited as Patron of State
SGF.
2. State Chief commissioner of The Bharat Scouts & Guides of
concerned Railway will be Vice Patron.
3. Divisional Railway Managers / General Managers of Production units
can be invited as Patrons of concerned District SGF’s.
4. Hierarchical Structure for Railway SGF Units
a) State Branches are led by PHOD/HOD
b) Divisions are led by senior Officer
c) Guilds SGF are led by serving employee in area /zone Guild belongs
