c. To maintain a record of funds, grants etc. received and issue
receipt or acknowledgment for the same.
17. Interpretation of rules.
If there is any dispute with regard to the Interpretation of any rule, the
matter will be referred to the District SGF Governing Body, if necessary.
In case of any discrepancy or dispute, the matter shall be referred by
the District SGF Governing Body to the State SGF council whose
decision of interpretation shall be final.
a) District SGF:
A District Unit in a State is affiliated to the State Branch and has a
minimum 15 subscribing members and/or 3 Guilds and pays annual
fees as per the rules and regulations of the State SGF where a State SGF
does not exist, the district unit shall be affiliated to the Indian SGF and
will pay annual fees directly to the National organization as may be
decided by the National Council.
b) Guild SGF:
Has minimum 5 members and pays annual fees per member to the
District SGF. Where a District SGF does not exist then the Guild shall be
directly affiliated to the State SGF and where a District or a State SGF
does not exist then it will be directly affiliated to the National
organization and pays an annual fee as may be decided by the State
Council or National Organization.
