        I. Having Health Insurance/Card

            Among all the respondents, 93.9% of households have no health card/insurance, while only 6.1%
        have health card/insurance. In Dhaka, only 0.4% of households have health insurance, in Meherpur, it’s
        1.8%, and in Tangail, 22.6% of households have health insurance, with 77.4% not having any.

        II.Reasons for Not Having Health Insurance/Card


            Among 414 respondents without health cards/insurance (224 from Dhaka, 82 from Tangail, and
        108 from Meherpur), 242 provided reasons for not using any health insurance. The majority (65.3%)
        were unaware of health card/insurance services in their areas. A significant portion (24.8%) mentioned
        not needing or being interested in health insurance. In Dhaka, 48.7% were unaware of health insurance
        facilities, and 40% were uninterested. In Tangail, 93.8% were unaware, while in Meherpur, 83.3% lacked
        awareness or access to health insurance services.

        III. Type of Health Insurance/Card

            No respondents could mention the type of health card/insurance specifically. Seven respondents
        provided responses. Six respondents were from Tangail, and one was from Dhaka. However, only one
        household from Tangail is using govt. Health care and the rest of the six respondents are using health cards.
        IV. Name of Health Insurance/Card


            Only 28 respondents from Tangail could mention the name of the health cards they are using. They
        mentioned that they are using an SSK health card.

        V. Member Coverage Of Health Insurance/Card

            Only 23 respondents mentioned the member coverage of the health card they are using. Among
        them, 22 respondents were from Tangail and only one from Dhaka. However, they mentioned that
        their health cards cover spouses and children.
