VII. Health Insurance/Card Cost
Only 26 respondents mentioned the cost of the health card they are using. Among them, 25
respondents were from Tangail and only one from Dhaka. Twenty-three households from Tangail
mentioned that their annual health card cost is BDT 50,000. One household from Tangail mentioned
their annual health card cost is BDT 800, 89 one household from Dhaka mentioned that their annual
health card cost is BDT 5,000 and the rest one household from Tangail mentioned they don’t have to
pay any cost for their health card.
VIII.Households’ Perception Towards Health Card Cost
Out of 26 respondents, the majority (65.4%) found the health card cost okay, and 30.8% considered
it cheap. In Tangail, 64% said the cost was okay, 32% considered it cheap, and 4% found it very cheap.
The respondent from Dhaka found the health care cost okay.
