MSI 4260

1. Remove port plug and flip SW1-8
2. Open SW1-7 and 5
3. Turn on scale
4. Depress LOCK button and wait until stabile
5. Using the ZERO(SW1) pot, adjust until 0 is reached
6. Push ZERO button to set zero reference
7. Lift test weights and adjust SPAN(SW2) pot until weight value is displayed
8. Lower weights and verify 0, if not 0 then press ZERO button and repeat span

procedure.
9. Close switches SW1-5,7,and 8

MSI 4300

1. Remove seal port screw and press SETUP button
2. Push NET/GROSS until “STD CAL” is displayed
3. Push TEST button
4. “0 Scale” is displayed, remove weight and press ZERO button
5. “Weight” is displayed, add test weights
6. Press the NET/GROSS button until first digit of displayed value is equal to that of

the test weights
7. Press ENTER(TEST), repeat for the remaining digits
8. When the last digit is entered ensure the scale is stabile before pressing the

ENTER(TEST) button.
9. Press the CLEAR(ZERO) button to return to weigh mode

MSI 6000

1. Remove seal port screw and press Setup switch
2. Press UP or DOWN keys and scroll to “STD CAL”
3. Press ENTER
4. “0 Scale”, press ENTER, “CALING”
5. “WEIGHT” is displayed, add weight
6. Use the UP arrow to select the first digit of weight
7. Press ENTER, repeat for remaining digits
8. “Cal OK”, is displayed, then “UNLOAD”, remove weight, press ENTER.
9. Press ENTER, then EXIT
