Employee Responsibility
• Be familiar with your company seniority date and how it is used in the accrual of vacation benefits,
and other seniority-related benefits.
• Refer to posted vacation schedules and try and work around already booked vacation time.
If you have questions about your seniority date, talk to your supervisor immediately to
resolve the issue.
Leadership Responsibility
• Understand company seniority and apply it consistently within your department.
• If employees report any errors with seniority dates, work with your department management
and Human Resources to resolve their concerns promptly.

The holidays are applicable based on the province you reside in. Generally speaking, Purity Life’s warehouse
distribution centres are open as long as couriers are picking up. All employees are eligible for holiday pay from
day one with Purity Life. The amount of public holiday pay to which an employee is entitled is all of the regular
wages earned by the employee in the four work weeks before the work week with the public holiday plus all of
the vacation pay payable to the employee with respect to the four work weeks before the work week with the
public holiday, divided by 20.
In the event that an hourly employee must work a statutory holiday as recognized by Purity Life, the employee
will receive time and a half (1½) for the hours worked on the holiday, plus the stat holiday pay.
