The A(+) and B(-) buttons can be programmed; BUT only in the PLAY MODE to
alternatively function as fast forward and fast reverse.
We strongly recommend leaving the A(+) and B(-) buttons in their default position as volume
controls.

In the PLAY mode the A(+) button advances to the next recording. To return to a previous
recording the A(+) button must be continuously depressed through the capacity of the
COUNTER and then forward to the desired file.

“Name” is the UNIQUE FILE IDENTIFIER automatically generated by an algorithm. The first
two digits represent the day of the month on which the recording was made. The next six
digits are probably calculated from a combination of the date, time and the length of the
recording. The evidential significance file names is discussed in the VJTF program.
When the device is connected to a computer:
• Files can be renamed on it, copied and deleted in the usual way for USB sticks;
• Additional directories can be created;
