Kenneth broke it down for her, someone who signs your check and is

consistently calling you. She sat looking really stupid. She continued
to say she had not spoken to Jerome since the winter because she had

since found out that he was a big liar.

Kenneth asked what she found out about Jerome and what lies
he told her. She claimed there were several things he had lied to her
about. She found out he was not an equal partner of CGS as he had

claimed. He did not do any of the marketing for the company as he

had claimed. The worst lie as he had told everyone he had been to her
house and slept with her. I knew we were finally getting to the truth

about the relationship between Jerome and Melissa.

Kenneth asked about the first time I brought to her attention the

sexual harassment claim at the beginning of her employment with
CGS. He wanted to know whether I approached her about her

demand to receive a $10,000 salary increase and whether she would
sue us for sexual harassment if she did not receive the increase. She

claimed Jerome was the first to inform her of the allegations and I had
come to apologize to her for believing the rumors.

Kenneth began asking her if she remembered me calling her to

my office and asking her if she was having sex with Jerome and if she
was planning on suing us and that she had answered "no" to both of
those questions. She also could not remember what she did, in fact,

received a $10,000 raise.
