academy award. I walked into Sara's office stating, "I have been
managing this contract for five years and I had never received a
complaint letter from my client and my client wanted a response by
the next day C.O.B." (close of business). Sara took the letter from me
and told me she would address the issues in the letter. I went home
and was celebrating. I had finally won something, and I had them
jumping for a change.
The next day, there were closed doors between Jane and Sara, one
hour before the response was due to the client, they provided me the
response and left. The response was under my signature and
everything in the response was a lie. I realized they had gotten me
again because they were nowhere around for me to address my
concerns and I knew my client wanted the response that day. I was so
disgusted. I signed the letter and faxed the information to my client.
By the evening, I was so mad at myself because I had let them set
me up and they got away again. I stayed up all night and I drafted a
letter to the owner and called Sara out I told him that as my immediate
supervisor Sara had forced me to falsify a deliverable to a client and I
wanted to meet with him because I could not trust her as my
supervisor. I emailed him that night, by morning he had contacted me
to arrange for the meeting. I had written up Sara and she did not have
a clue. The owner contacted Sara and informed her of our meeting at
10:00 am. We ended up riding the elevator together. Talk about
awkwardness, as we rode to the tenth floor, Sara looked at me and
asked me if I knew what the meeting was about. I responded, "Yes I
