contacted me and told me they had placed a stop-work order on all
the company's contracts. I immediately began to sing and praise the
Lord. I knew He was putting things in motion. Who else gets fired and
hired on the same day?
I called my niece and learned Cox had fired her as well and she
was on her way home. Poor baby, that was her first job and she had
to experience getting fired along with her auntie. Before she left, she
said all the other students had a sit-in with the company. They had
returned the meeting materials, had a sit-in and began to demand
accountability by management. What a powerful lesson those kids
learned as they began to understand they had the power and
knowledge and that the company needed the information they had.
They also knew this was their only power to correct what they knew
was wrong, my being firing. They demanded a pay increase. The
company had no choice but to bargain with the young ones. Cox did
not have a plan B after they had fired me. They underestimated the
relationships I had established with my government clients and the
students.
I took a couple of weeks off before I started my new position. At
the same time, I had to fight with Cox and Associates to get my last
paycheck. They were refusing to pay me, and I obtained a lawyer.
These fools did not realize I was keeping a paper trail on everything
they were doing, including forging my name on a government invoice.
They were so rushed to process the invoices they could not wait for
me, so someone in upper management decided they could sign my
