That’s Crazy

               The wedding was wonderful. You know I had to control Daddy’s

          guest list. He would have had the whole town there if he could have,
          and,  of  course,  there  were  some  crashers.  There  were  about  200

          people and we partied hard at the reception. The other sign I should
          have recognized about Leroy was that he did not have many people

          attending from his side of the family. I just assumed it was because we

          were married in my hometown. The only people present from his side
          of the guest list were his siblings, parents and five friends.


               Leroy probably could have said the same thing about me, because
          no one from my mother’s side of the family attended either (which

          stemmed from me having to ask my mother and her “Boo” to leave
          my  home  three  years  previous).  I  was  officially  kicked  out  of  my

          mother’s family for that stunt.

               My crazy cousin was present, totally out of place, with wild hair

          and knee-high stockings under her dress. She had been diagnosed as
          bipolar at the age of twenty. You see my cousin and I were raised like

          sisters and I prayed she did not show her true self in front of my new
          family.  Especially,  since  she  was  the  only  one  representing  the

          mother's side of the family.


               Around 9:30 pm, Leroy and I went to the suite and consummated
          the marriage, while everyone continued to party on the town. I was
          angry because, just like my Daddy, I like a good party and I wanted to

          hang out with my friends. The next morning, people were coming to
