Fei: Dianna,你有什么有关学习方面的想要分享的吗？

Dianna:事实上，你可以从工作中学到很多东西，所以应该始终保持好奇心，提出问题，并且积极的问一些你不了解的问题，并向他人
寻求信息。
除了工作培训之外，你还应该花一些时间来反思，发展某些技能，并花一些时间来更新自己的技能和知识。我发现在当今繁忙的环境
中，你需要固定的花些时间思考工作或行业有什么变化并记笔记。纪律性非常重要。

还有，像 Daju 所说的那样，即使时间很短，也不要浪费时间。利用闲碎时间阅读一些东西，慢慢积累起来对学习也会非常有帮助。

Fei: Dianna, do you have anything about learning?

Dianna: Actually, you learn a lot from job training, and you should always have a curious mind, never be shy to ask questions about something you don’t
know and seek information from other people.

Other than your job training, you should spend time to reflect, develop certain skill sets and take time to upgrade your skills and knowledge. I found
that in today’s busy environments, you need to find some designated time for training or even think of what’s going on and write down some notes. It
is also very important to have discipline.
Another thing is to squeeze out your time, even if it is a short time, like what Daju had said. Make use of time and read something. This is very helpful
if accumulated through time.
Attending industry conferences is another way of learning as you might pickup something new when people talk about new topics that you haven’t
heard of before. Thinking about how they can be related to you and see how they can be implemented in your own working environments.

Houben:是的。我认为其他三位导师很好地涵盖了不同的话题。首先，就像所说的那样，学习适合所有人，学习永远不会太老。现今

Fei: Thank you, Dianna. Houben, do you have any idea to share with us?
Houben: Yeah. I think the other three panelists cover different things quite well. First, like what was said, learning is for everybody and you are never
too old to learn. Machine learning is kind of like a specific and advanced analytic skill in banking industry and today it is getting more and more popular
relative to many years ago. It is quite evident that learning never ends.

I also want to remind everyone that there are so many things to learn. It is impossible for you to learn everything. You must be strategic and selective
with what you learn. The drive for learning is to make you do your current job better or to become an expert in specific areas or be ready for your next
job. So, intelligently picking up things to learn, know what you need to learn and why you learn are important.
Also, like what was emphasized in early days, if you are on the job for five to ten years, you can easily become a subject matter expert. After working for
more than 5 or 10 years, things become very different, and it depends on your career path. Some people decide to take a managerial role in which you
manage people and focus on communication functions rather than doing the technical work. That’s where your soft skills and strategical leadership
become more important. You should train yourself accordingly if your aspiration is to become a leader.
