               If you have a retail business with lots of choices, you may want to greet them with

               a warm HELLO!  My name is Bob.  If you need any help, don’t be shy…

               If you have a service business, get to the point.  HELLO!  My name is Bob.  We’re
               glad you stopped in to the Service Emporium today, home of the super {service}.

               What can I do to help you tackle that {perceived pain or desired result} today?

               Your initial face-to-face interaction - The worst thing we often see is an

               employee behind the desk texting away on their phone. Half the time they don’t
               even look up.


               Which one are you?

               When I was a young man, I managed a restaurant.  Occasionally, I would ‘secret
               shop’ it and come in to see how my staff was performing when I wasn’t around.

               I hid behind two friends as we approached the order taker.  She mumbled, “What

               can I get you?”  My friend said “What do you recommend tonight?”  To which she
               replied, “I don’t know, I wouldn’t eat here.”

               I poked my head out.  She turned as white as the paper her termination letter was

               printed on.

               The art of customer service is dying.  Great customer service goes a long way in
               business today.  When you see good service, it immediately creates a positive

               lasting impression.

               Your Online Presence in Search Engines - This one requires some work, but for
               most businesses it is critical for success.  Log into Google and search for your

               business by your main keyword.

               Write down who comes up FIRST on page one.  This is where you want to be.

               No one cares about page 2 or beyond.  For 12 years we owned the number one

               spot for our main key search term “Health Club Marketing”.  It is the only place
               you want to be.
