● Thanks - Send them thank you notes for being a customer.
● Satisfaction - Follow up with them and make sure they're still satisfied with
being a customer.
● Up-Selling - Ask them if they know about the other services and products
that you offer.
● Referrals - Ask them to refer friends, family, work associates and others
● Special Events - Wish them a happy birthday.
We prefer to set up these customer ‘touches’ with our auto-responder software.
You just set it and forget it. When someone buys, their information goes into the
follow up system and walla! They are sent each message at the appropriate time.
Do You Wash Your Socks One At a Time?
Working without a system is like this…
You doing laundry - one sock at a time.
Every time you get a dirty one in your household, you run down to fire up the
washing machine and wash it. How efficient and effective is that going to be?
How long would it take you to get anything else accomplished, other than laundry
if that's how you handle that?
That's a ridiculous example, but it's really how some people run their businesses!
