3 EVENT REPORTING
For every event we hold, there are three forms that need
to be completed for reporting. This ensures that the
Network is compliant with legislations and meets the
requirements of the annual auditing process.
EVENT SAFETY PLAN AND BRIEFING
Developing a culture of safety is a top priority at
DWN. Our aim as a team of trustees, management,
and yourselves as volunteers is to provide a safe
working environment. As event hosts, we want to send
our event attendees home safely.
To help us achieve this and comply with the Health
and Safety at Work Act 2015, we have created an Event
Safety Plan.
Filling out this form before you start your event, and
then using it to brief members in attendance at the
beginning of your event not only keeps yourself and
members safe but helps to create a strong Health and
Safety culture by way of example. Keep the form on
hand throughout your event to record incidents of near
misses.
These forms are kept in your pink resource kit and are
laminated so that you can reuse them at each event.
The Event Safety form is available as an editable pdf,
and can be completed electronically.
Immediately after your event, photograph the form
and save the photo for inclusion when you complete
the Event Debrief Form. Don’t forget to photograph
the reverse side if any incidents occurred.
