• Point out exits (fire, earthquake)
• Ask everyone to turn their phones to silent,
including your own!
• Acknowledgment of funders/sponsors of this
event and to our other Network Partners for their
continued support of Dairy Women’s Network
• Outline/format of day i.e. when morning/afternoon tea
will be and finish time etc.
• Questions & answers – how they want to manage this?
• Explain the ‘rules of engagement’, for example
attendees should refrain from speaking to their
neighbour during a presentation, or questions will be
answered at the end.
• Introduce presenter and support person/s.
WRAPPING UP AN EVENT
Your final words wrapping up an event are the last
chance you have to make an impression on our
members.
Don’t forget to:
• Mention your highlights from the event and any take
home messages.
• Thank the presenter/s, Network Partners, attendees
and anyone else who helped to make the event a
success.
• Promote any upcoming events, webinars or awards.
