BUSINESS PERMIT DIVISION
Considered the “heart-and-soul” of the Department, this Division plays a primary role as it supervises the
processing, encoding, and releasing of permits to business establishments and occupational permits to
workers in Quezon City to ensure systematic flow of permitting transactions.
There are two sections under this: 1) Business Permit Section and 2) Occupational Permit Section.
The Business Permit Section is responsible for evaluating application for new permits and renewal of business
permits. It also validates clearances of new business permit applications.
The Occupational Permit Section is clear with its mandate to evaluate, encode, and release applications for
Occupational Permit. It also establishes guidelines which are necessary for the implementation of Article 22 of
the QC Revenue Code, as amended, or the Mayor's Permit Fee on Occupation or Calling.
