LIQUOR LICENSING DIVISION

This Division, though newly created for the BPLD, is vital for revenue generation to fund the city’s services. It
is in charge of matters pertaining to the application, evaluation, encoding, and the issuance of a liquor license.

There are two sections under this: 1) Licensing Section and 2) Regulatory Section.

The Licensing Section evaluates, encodes, and processes applications for liquor license. It also prepares and
submits periodic reports and ensures the strict implementation of Ordinance No. NC-85, S-89, as amended,
also known as the Quezon City Liquor Ordinance in relation to Article 23 of the Quezon City Revenue Code of
1993, as amended.

The Regulatory Section, meanwhile, is the one conducting verifications, monitoring, and regulation of liquor
establishments. It is also required to submit periodic reports and any report of violation/s of liquor business
establishments to the Department Head.
