l[.l2.2 As arr exception to Arlicle lt.l2.l, if the financial support takes the form of a prize, the
beueficiaries rrust give such financial sr.rpporl in accordance with tlre corrditiorrs specified in
Annex L Under those conditions, tlre following infornration rnust at least be stated:

(a) the eligibility and award cliteria;
(b) the amount of the prizel
(c) the paynent afl'angemetlts.
II.12.3 The berreficiaries must ensure that the conditions applicable to then, under Articles 11.4, 11.5.
I1.6, il.8, Il.9 and 11.27 are also applicable to the third parlies receiving financial support.

ARTICLE II.I3 AMENDMENTS TO THE AGREEMENT

II.l3.l Any amendrnent to the Agreement must be made in writing.

II.13.2 An amendment may not have the purpose or the effect of making changes to the Agreernent
which woLrld call into question the decision awarding the graut or be contlary to the equal
treatment of appl icarrts.
lI.t3.3 Any request for amendmeltt rnust:

(a) be duly justified;

(b) be accornpanied by appropriate supporting documents: and

(c) be sent to the other parly in due time befble it is due to take effecl, aud in ally case one
nrontlr before the end of the intplementation periocl-

Point (c) does not apply in cases duly sr.rbstantiated by the patty requesting the amendrnent if
the other pafty agrees.

II.l3.4 A request for amendment on behalf of the beneficiaries must be submitted by the
coordinator. If a change of coordinator is requested without its agreernent, the request rnust
be subrnifted by all other beneficiaries and must be accompanied by tlre opiniorr of the
coordinator or proof that this opinion has beerr requested in rvriting.
II.l3.5 Arnendtrrents errter into force on the date on which the last pafty sigrrs or on the date of
approval of the request for arneudment.

Atneudtnents take effect on a date agreed by the parties or, in the abserrcc of suclr an agreed
date, on the date on which the arnendrnent enters into force.
