ABSTRACT
A year albino iguana was presented to DRD Veterinary Clinic with a complaint of reducing appetite for a week. On
physical examination, she was dull, depressed and lethargy with moderately distended abdomen. The radiographic
findings were multiple round masses with calcified shell and radiological diagnosis of egg binding were made. Egg
Binding can be diagnosed by palpation of distended abdominal area and confirmation with radiograph. Surgical
coeliotomy of eggs removal by histerotomy procedure was carried out under general anaesthesia with tiletamine-
zolazepam. Total of 15 eggs were removed from the reproductive system. Coeliotomy of egg removal was chosen
and the general condition of the patient are good.
