TAIL LAMP: FXSTD See Figure 8-41. Insert a small screwdriver into middle hole of license plate light cover. Push forward to release See Figure 8-42. Lift tail lamp assembly upward. Replace components as necessary. Tail lamp bulb: Turn bulb housing (2) counterclock- wise and pull outward. Remove bulb by turning counterclockwise and pulling from socket. Push new bulb into socket and turn clockwise. Place bulb housing inside tail lamp and turn clockwise to install. License plate bulbs: Remove license plate bulbs (4) turning housing counterclockwise. Tab on bulb housing must clear tab on license plate light hous- ing. Pull bulb from socket and replace
