NOTE Before removing turn signal wires, carefully note routing. In particular, pay close attention to the locations of cable straps Disconnect right turn signal [18] and left turn signal [19] connectors from within tail lamp. See 8.20 TAIL LAMP: ALL BUT FXSTD/FLSTSC/FLSTN. Remove wire terminals from turn signal connectors. For FLSTC models, see Figure 8-63. Remove the screw (1) to detach turn signal from mount (2). For all other models, see Figure 8-64. Detach fender support hardware. See 2.35 REAR FENDER: FXST/ FXSTS/FXSTB.
