SETTINGS.
05. Check IEEE 1394 ID (MAC Address) by HDD program. If wrong, correct it by
HDD program.
06. When there is problem with IEEE 1394 ID, you record or change TSB43AB23 chip
07. Check signals and voltages on solder pins of IEEE 1394 connector, using
oscilloscope or multi-meter.
08. Check all voltages on IEEE 1394 chip pins: VCC, 3VDUAL, DVDD, +12V_BUS,
BUSVCC0.
09. Check Clock: PCI_PCLK this Clock is from Clock Generator to TSB43AB23 chip.
10. Check CRISTAL 24M HZ.
11. Check RESET: -PCIRST.
12. Check all signals between PCI and IEEE 1394 chip are good AD [0; 31] & Control
Signals.
13. Before you change IEEE1394 chip or South-bridge, please make sure that above all
steps are measured.

07. PCI Express External Reference Resistor: PCIE_REXT
08. SATA II Port 0, 1 External Reference Resistor: SATA_REXT0, SATA_REXT1
