18. On weekends the on-call person makes daily rounds to the critical areas (i.e.
MSICU, CVICU, CCU, ER) at TGH and TWH, and palliative care (16th floor) at
PMH.
19. The on-call person will document all pages in the on call log.
20. If paged to a unit assigned to Spiritual Care Practitioner, or resident, the on-call
person is required to collaborate with staff or resident assigned to the unit. If after
hours, a note is to be sent to the assigned Spiritual Care Practitioner, or resident,
informing them of what transpired. The staff assigned on the unit will send a
follow up email to the person on call to assist in the completion of the on call log
which closes the loop regarding a patient visit.
