beloved Son I am pleased with him hear him. When the voice was heard, they
threw themselves to the ground faces down. They were greatly amazed. Jesus
then came near and touched them and said arise do not be afraid. They lifted
their heads and looked up with their eyes and saw no man except Jesus alone
with them.

In the morning of the next day they came down from the mountain. Jesus
commanded them not to tell any man what they had seen until the Son of Man
rises from the dead. In those days, they did not tell any man what they saw.

They asked him why then do the Elders, Pharisees and scribes say that Elijah
must first come? He said to them Elijah has come first to prepare the Way. I say
to you Elijah has already come and they did not know him. They did to him
whatever they pleased. The Son of man is bound to suffer from them so that
everything will be fulfilled. Then the disciples understood that what he had told
them was about John the Baptist
I say to you that among those who are born of women there have never raised
one who is greater than John the Baptist. From the days of John, the Baptist
until now the kingdom of heaven has been administered by force and only those
in power control it. The prophets and the Law prophesied until John. If you will
accept this he is Elijah who was to come. As he walked with his apostles he saw
a large crowd gathered around some of his followers and the scribes debating
with them. When the people saw Jesus, they were greatly surprised many ran to
greet him. As he came to his followers he asked about what they were debating
with the scribes.

Epileptic Son Healed

One of the multitude answered saying, Teacher I brought my son to you. He has
a spirit of dumbness. Whenever it seizes him it troubles him and he foams and
gnashes his teeth and faints. I asked your followers to cast it out but they could
not. Jesus answered and said to him oh faithless generation how long shall I be
with you? How long shall I preach to you? Bring him to me. His followers brought
the boy to Jesus. When they seized him immediately the boy was troubled and
he fell on the ground gasping and foaming. Jesus asked his father how long he
has had these conditions. He said to him from his childhood. Many times, he has
fallen into the fire and into the water to destroy him. Have mercy on my son and
heal him. Jesus said to him if you can believe everything is possible to him who
believes. The father of the boy cried out weeping and said I do believe help my
little trust.

When Jesus saw, that people were running and gathering about him he rebuked
the epileptic and said to him. I command you be healed of your epilepsy. The
epileptic cried out violently and was tortured then his spirit was calm and the boy
became still. Many from the crowd of people said he is dead. Then Jesus took
