him by the hand and lifted him up. The people were amazed. The father of the
boy fell at the feet Jesus and gave thanks and revered him. Because of the
crowd, Jesus and his followers departed and entered the house. His followers
asked him privately in the house why we could not heal the epileptic. He said to
them this kind of sickness cannot be heal by anyone that doubts and has petty
faith. Fast and pray that your Father may be glorified. He it is that does these
works. When they went out from there they passed through Galilee. Jesus did
not want any man to know about him.
Capernaum
They came to Capernaum and entered a house. He asked them what you were
reasoning among yourselves on the road. They kept silent. On the road, they had
argued with one another as to who was the greatest of them. Jesus sat down and
called the twelve. He said to them he who wishes to be first let him be the
humblest of men and servant of every man. He took a little child and made him to
stand in the midst. Then he took him in his arms and said to them whoever
receives a child like this in my name he receives me. He, who receives me, does

am to be baptized? They said to him we can. Jesus said to them the cup which I
shall ingest you too will ingest. The baptism with which I am baptized you will be
baptized also. To sit at my right and at my left is not mine to give except to those
for whom it is prepared. When the ten heard, it they began to murmur at James
and John. Jesus called them and said to them you know that those who consider
themselves princes of the people are also their lords and their officials rule over
them. Let not this be so among you but he who wishes to be great among you let
him minister to you. Anyone of you who wishes to be first he must be a servant to
all. The Son of man also did not come to be ministered to but to minister and to
give his life as savior for the sake of many.
Last Journey
It happened when the days of his final journey to Jerusalem were to be fulfilled.
He set his face to go to Jerusalem. He sent messengers ahead of him. They
went away and entered into a Samaritan village to prepare for him. They did not
receive him because his face was set to go straight to Jerusalem. When his
