the Sabbath. They watched him. When he reclined the leader of the Pharisees
was amazed because he did not first wash before dinner. Jesus said to him. You
Pharisees clean the outside of the cup and the dish. Within you are full of
extortion and iniquity. Oh, you short sighted did not he who made the outside
also make the inside?
Parable sit Lower
He spoke a parable to those who were invited there. He saw those choosing
places among the front seats.
Woe to you Pharisees! You love chief seats in the Synagogues and praise in the
street. When you are invited of a man to a banquet house, do not go and sit in
the front seats it might be that a more honorable man than you is invited there.
Then he who has invited you will come and say give the place to him. You will be
embarrassed when you get up and take a lower seat. When you are invited goes
and set at the lower end so that when he who has invited you comes. He will say
to you. My friend, go up sit higher. You will have honor before all who sit with
you.
Healed Dropsy
There was a man before him, who had dropsy. Jesus said to the Pharisees and a
scribe is it lawful to heal on the Sabbath? They kept silent. He said which one of

at the feet of Jesus giving thanks.
Now there was in that city a woman who was a sinner. When she knew that he
was a guest in the Pharisee’s house. She took an alabaster cruse of perfume
and stood behind and fell at his feet, weeping. She began to wet his feet with her
tears and to wipe them with the hair of her head. She kissed his feet and
anointed them with perfume. The Pharisee who had invited Jesus watched her
doing these issues. He reasoned in himself if this man were a prophet. He would
have known she is a sinner and of her reputation. Jesus said, Simon I have
something to tell you. He said to him say it, Teacher.
Parable of Two Debtors
Jesus said to him. There were two men who were debtors to a certain creditor.
One of them owed him five hundred pence. The other owed him fifty pence.
Because they had nothing to pay he forgave them both. Which one of them will
love him more? Simon said I think the one to whom he forgave more. Jesus said
