as yourself. Jesus said to him, you spoke the truth do this and you shall live. He
wanted to justify himself. He said to him and who is my neighbor?

                                              Parable Beneficial Samaritan

Jesus said to him, there was a man who went down from Jerusalem to Jericho.
Bandits attacked him; robbed him; beat him and left him with little life remaining
in him. Then they went away. A priest was going down that road he saw him and
passed on. A Levite arrived at that place saw him and passed on. A Samaritan
as he journeyed came where he was and had compassion. He gave him water to
drink; cleaned the wounds with oil then bandage up his wounds. He put him on
his own ass and brought him to the inn. He took care of him. In the morning, he
took out two pennies and gave them to the innkeeper. He said to him take care of
him and whatever you spend more when I return I will give it to you. Who of
these three as it appears to you, became neighbor to him who fell into the hands
of the bandits? He said the one who had compassion on him. Jesus said to him
you go also and do likewise.

                                                12 Apostles 70 Privateers

12 Apostles. In admiralty practice the Law of the Sea. A term borrowed from the
civil Law. Denoting brief dismiss letters granted to a party who appeals from an
inferior to a superior court, embodying a statement of the case and a declaration
that the record will be transmitted

70 Privateers. A vessel owned, equipped, and armed by one or more private
individuals. Duly commissioned by a belligerent power to go on cruises and make
war upon the enemy, usually by preying on his commerce.

                                                   Before the Passover

Now the feast of unleavened bread which is called the Passover was at hand and
Jesus went to the mount of Olive and remained all night in prayer to God at
daybreak he called his followers. His followers gathered together. He said in the
presence of everyone he who wishes to come after me let him deny himself take
up his cross every day and follow me. Whoever wishes to save his life will lose it.
Whoever loses his life for my sake and the sake of my Gospel shall save it. How
will a man be benefited if he gains the whole world but loses his own soul or what
shall a man give in exchange for his life (soul). Whoever is ashamed of me and
of my words or even weakens them in this sinful and adulterous generation the
Son of man will also be ashamed of him when he comes in the glory of his father
accompanied by his holy angels. Then he will reward each man according to his
works. Truly I say to you, there are men who stand here who will not taste death,
until they see the Son of man coming in is kingdom.
