y te daré pan y vino.
There was snow, there was hail,
Then la Chata spoke to me
And as she spoke she threatened me:
"Either you pay or else"
I said: For goodness' sake, my beauty,
I just have something to tell you,
But it'll have to be by the fire"

I'll take you to my home,
I'll show you the way,
I'll light a fire with glowing embers
And I'll give you bread and wine.
But, mind you, promise me something
And I'll consider you a gentleman.
You are lucky this morning!

Las cosas hermosas, casas, caminos, fuego, pan e incluso las formas de amar, cambian o se transforman
con los tiempos.
Sólo hay algo que permanece inalterable y que la serrana, claro precedente de la nuestra, la de la Vera, ofrece
al irreverente y tabernario clérigo: un buen caldo. Este permanece o se mejora con el tiempo.
Por eso este consejo he de dar: que desde La Corte Real, el Palacio de Monsalud, Vega Adriana, Monasterio
de Tentudía o cualquier otro remoto lugar, ante la presencia de un vino de afinado bouquet, sin dejar de lado los
restantes placeres que nos ofrece la vida, digas, insinuante y comedido: ¡vade mecum ¡ (vente conmigo).

Beautiful things, houses, paths, fire, bread and even the way to love, change or are transformed with time.
There is only one thing that remains unchanged and that the maid, clear precedent of ours, the one from la

Monasterio de Tentudía or any other remote place, in the presence of a wine of fine bouquet and without leaving
aside the rest of pleasures that life offers us, say, suggestive and moderate: vade mecum! (come with me).
