4.6 First Aid Management
The nature of work carried out by the company necessitates that arrangements are made to deal
with accidents both major and minor. To provide the most practicable support in the event of an
accident specific arrangements are made with each client on each work site to allow company
workers to make use of the client’s facilities
• All employees are instructed that in the event of an accident they should immediately contact
their supervisor if on site or alternatively the company office.
• For minor injuries employees should contact the site first aid contact.
• In emergency situations the emergency services should be called without delay using 999.
• All accidents treated by a first aider will be recorded in the company Accident Book
The Headquarters office is provided with a suitably stocked first aid kit and has a nominated first aid
appointed person to deal with any accident that may happen at HQ or minor accidents that may
occur with mobile staff.
