members economically interdependent. But what began
as a purely economic union has become a globalist
organization responsible for many different areas of
policy.
The European Commission, the EU’s
administrative arm, is responsible for proposing and
drafting EU legislation. If draft proposals are approved
by the European Parliament, representing EU citizens,
and the Council of Ministers, representing member
states, the drafts become law. The EU court in
Luxembourg interprets the EU law to make sure it is
applied in the same way in all EU countries and settles
legal disputes between national governments and EU
institutions. The EU can demand payment from the
countries who do not comply with the court’s rulings.
The European Union has a parliament that represents
the people of Europe, but this body has no real power
because it cannot make its laws; the real power resides
with the unelected officials of the European
Commission who cannot be removed by EU citizens.

MULTICULTURALISM
Globalism is married to the concept of
multiculturalism. Multiculturalism says that society
should be tolerant of all cultures and that one country’s
beliefs are no better or worse than any other nation or
group of people. Multiculturalism is the separation of
nation and state because it views a country not as a
vehicle to advance and protect the interests or values of
a specific group, but instead, it provides for an
