6-127 When using Nordback for crusher liner installations, always use
caution. When pouring into crusher cavity be aware that high
temperatures are generated as a result of the chemical reaction.
Use mechanical ventilation (RamFan) or dilution when cutting
with a torch in order to remove smoke and gases which are

generated by burning Nordback .
6-128 Wear hard hats in the shop.
6-129 Assign another person in the shop to “Fire Watch” when a
potential for fire exists.
6-130 Use extreme caution when entering or exiting the shop with a
vehicle.
