8-319 When operating equipment near embankments, elevated roadways or
highwalls, always conduct and document a work area inspection and
continuously inspect the area to assure that the ground conditions are
                                      of sufficient strength and stability.

8-320 Do not jump from mobile equipment.

8-321 All drivers must take signals from the shovel or loader operator when
                                      spotting trucks for loading.

8-322 Do not drive over any power cable unless they have been properly
                                      bridged or protected.

8-323 Park pit equipment at a distance of at least 25% of the height of the
                                      highwall when not in use.

8-324 Whenever any material or equipment is transported on a forklift truck,
make sure that the load is secured and traveled low to the ground.
When descending a grade, operate the forklift with the load in the
                                      upgrade position.

8-325 No passengers are allowed to ride in mobile equipment unless the
equipment is so designed. No one is permitted to ride on the outside
                                      of vehicles.

8-326 No one shall mount or dismount from a moving vehicle.

8-327 Before operating mobile equipment, each employee is required to
                                      conduct a pre-trip inspection.

8-328 All mobile equipment and vehicles equipped with air conditioning for
exposure control must be operated with all windows up and doors
closed, unless the air conditioning is not functioning properly.

8-329 Do not leave mobile equipment unattended while fueling.

8-330 To prevent potential theft, always remove ignition key from parked and
unattended mobile equipment at end of the shift and return the key to
the designated place. If equipped with a battery master disconnect
switch, place in the “off” position.

8-331 Block or barricade entrances or access ramps when working in or
under scales, bins, grizzlies, hoppers, silos, or chutes.

8-332 Construct, inspect, and maintain berms at a minimum of mid-axle
height of the largest piece of mobile equipment that travels the road or
                                      ramp.

8-333 Use rubber lined electricians gloves and insulated cable movers when
moving energized power cables feeding electrically powered
                                      draglines.
