Nomination Recognition 2017
Report by Individual Nominee
CATEGORY: COACH OF THE YEAR
NOMINEE NOMINATOR DEPARTMENT
Cristie Fisher Kody Bochard Quality Control 203100
Describe the situation or event related to the individual's or team's performance.
The best example of Cristies quality coaching is in her training. In her tenureship she has gained vast
knowledge and understanding of Gojos "ways of working", but is able to simplify it enough to easily grasp in a
shortened timeframe. her training is straight-forward and simple, and she can effectively answer any and all
questions related to them.
Cristies attentiveness and decision making has also helped the enterprise in many ways. when she assumed
the role of supervisor she was able to distinguish and improve numerous bad working practices like proper
writing techniques and SOP/LIMS improvements. Cristie was also apart of numerous projects, being sent to
places like vendor manufacturing plants to even our own Wooster campus.
Describe in detail the individual's or team's notable behaviors.
I believe Cristie should be nominated for coach of the year for her attentiveness, proactive mindset, and her
work ethic. She can be found constantly working but will always find time to help others, albeit within or outside
of our department. her constant work ethic paired with her unparalleled "Constructive criticism" has always
pushed me, and others, to work harder. if I had to choose 1 quality of a great coach/leader, I would choose the
ability to lead by example, and Cristie is the personification of that.
What were the results of the individual’s or team’s behaviors?
because of Cristies involvement, tasks have been handled timely and efficiently, and problems solved with
minimal ambiguity.
