“But why?”

“Sorry, no idea,” said the boy, turning to leave. “He asked
me to give it to you.”

Samphel’s heart pounded. “Thanks.” He hastily ripped
the envelope.

It read:

My dearest brother,

I don’t know where to begin, but let me not trouble
myself. My disappearance must have shocked you all. I
am very sorry about that. My apology, please. Well, I am
in the seventh heaven, living a blissful life, but I miss you
all.

Well, let me cut to the chase. More than you loved
Tshoden, I couldn’t live without her, but couldn’t think
of coming between because I love you more than her.
When Tshoden ditched me for you, I cried as much as I
could, but that’s okay, because she is destined for you.

Tears are rolling down my cheeks, not because you took
Tshoden, but because I had to part from you. Sorry for
not coming . Hope you won’t blame Tshoden for that. I
know you love me more than her, so always keep her
happy, because I live in her heart. So, her heart is my
heart, and my heart is your heart.
