                                                  Abstract
                  This  simple  study  discusses  the  views  of  English  teachers  in  the
                  implementation of English teaching learning by using cooperative learning
                  approach. A case study at SMAN  1 Sindang Indramayu. The purpose of
                  this  study  is  to  know  how  the  views  of  teachers  of  English  in  applying
                  teaching learning English using cooperative learning approach as well as
                  any difficulties encountered by teachers and their strategies in improving
                  learning  outcomes  and  language  skills  of  the  students.  The  method  of
                  research  used  is  a  case  study  method  by  describing,  identifying  and
                  classifying  what  the  teachers  had  done  qualitatively.  Data  collection
                  techniques are by distributing instrument of an open questionnaire and
                  interviews to the five English teachers. Data obtained are in the form of
                  open-questionnaire answers and transcrips of interviews. Data analysis is
                  by  synthesis  and  analysis  of  the  open  questionnaire  responses  and
                  transcripts  of  interviews.  The  research  results  indicate  that  the
                  implementation  of  cooperative  learning  approach  of  five  teachers  vary,
                  but the teachers’ views show that the cooperative learning approach gives
                  the nuance of equation in enhancing learning cooperation in completing
                  teacher’s tasks and in improving the achievement of learning outcomes as
                  well as better English proficiency  especially for writing and speaking skills.

                        Pembelajaran bahasa Inggris di kelas pada tingkat menengah
                  atas  seringkali  memberikan  nuansa  kurang  menarik  bagi  siswa  di
                  antaranya  karena  guru  lebih  banyak  mengajarkan  tata  bahasa,
