                                                                               West Loockerman Street’s existing streetscape design has the potential to become a pedestrian-centered building district with blocks of thriving businesses
                                                                               and foot traffic. The current storefronts of businesses dotting West Loockerman operate as insular environments, shielding their businesses from the
                                                                               exterior environment. This tactic creates a stoic and non-inviting “Main Street '' devoid of energy and character, which discourages pedestrians to linger and
                                                                               traverse along the street. With a lack of businesses attuned to allowing visitors to activate their exterior, the resulting street is devoid of life and character.
