Problem number 2 dealt on the extent of total quality management practices of school
administrators of special science high schools in Region I in the following approaches: a)
quantitative approach; b) system approach; and, c) contingency approach. Problem number
3 determined the existence of significant differences in the total quality management practices
of school administrators in special science high schools across their profile variables. Problem
number 4 discussed extensively the relationships between the total quality management
practices of school administrators in special science high schools across their profile variables.
Finally problem number 5 focused on the development of in-service training program that is
envisioned to enhance the total quality management competence of school administrators of
       special science high schools.
Based on the gathered data, the following are the findings of the study: 1) The youngest
among the respondents belong to age bracket 36-40 years old, on the other hand, the oldest
belong to age bracket of 50-60 years old: 2) In terms of their sex categorization, the school
administrators are female dominated, single, educationally upgrading themselves by taking
advance education beyond their bachelor’s degree: 3) The most number of years of administrative
experiences is 21 years and above, have attended seminars categorized as division, regional and
national levels: 4) The school administrators’ extent of total quality management practices along
quantitative approach is described as “always practicing quantitative approach”; 5) Along system
approach area, the school administrators rating is “often practiced” or highly practiced; 6) There
are significant differences in the extent of the school principals’ TQM practices specifically when
       grouped according to age categories;
Based on the findings, the following conclusions are made: 1. At any rate, in whatever
age category the respondents belong, they can all be considered as more mature school
administrators who have reached the prime time of their life, having become a the apex as
key school officials; 2. Women are inherently more compassionate, hence they outnumber
the man in the educational profession; 3. Relatively, it can be presumed in this study that
the 16 school administrators who are all women chose to be married to their profession as
educators. This is the wonder of being woman; 4. When it comes to educational qualifications,
the school administrators can be said to have a good educational profile; 5. Generally, the
school administrators have so far adequate enough number of years of experience; 6. School
administrators professionally enhance themselves through attendance to different levels of
relevant trainings here in the country and abroad; 7. The school administrators are more of work
output oriented, which is actually normally expected in using or practicing quantitative approach
to total quality management; 8. The school administrators put more premiums to work output
before considering the time frame for the implementation of every activity or project; 9. The
school principals significantly differ in their extent of TQM practices in accordance with their age
categories and are not comparable in the extent of TQM practice when categorized according
to age levels; 10. Both the male and female school administrators are comparable or do no
differ in their TQM practices and sex is not a source of variability among the school principals
in their extent of total quality management practices; 11. There are no significant differences
